My Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our fundraising page!
In July this year we will be taking part in the Prudential Ride London event!! This event is a 100 mile race in and around London along the 2012 Olympic route and we are completing this event in support of Kennedy's Disease UK.
Kennedys Disease is a rare neuromuscular disease producing symptoms similar to more well-known conditions like MND and MS. As the condition is rare, Kennedys Disease UK receives very little funding and so any support to help them support sufferers of this condition and research into future treatments is hugely welcomed.
Kennedys Disease is a condition that we both have direct experience with. Our father in law was diagnosed with this condition 10 years ago and we have both seen the impact this condition has on the person affected but also the family. As such we are riding to raise as much money as possible to support patients and families with living with this condition. We have set ourselves an ambitious target of raising £4,000 for the group so would be sooo grateful for any contribution you can make to our challenge!!!
Thank you so much to all those who are able to support us!!
